Required Skills/Experience:

• Previous travel experience is required; 1 travel assignment suffices.
• Charge experience is required.

Required Credentials:

• TNCC required, or proof of class with date applied.

Special Requests:

• Assignment length may vary: 16-26 weeks; 26 weeks preferred.
• Employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained.
• Public transportation is not accessible in this area; reliable transportation is strongly recommended, and a personal or rental vehicle is recommended.
• Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November-April.

Unit Details:

• Newborn to geriatric patient population.
• Uses Pyxis, Alaris IV pumps, Phillips monitors, Ranger blood warmer, telemedicine, and telestroke consultations.
• Unit procedures include ESI triage, IV insertion, drips/infusions, performing EKGs, restraint application, procedural sedation, and ambulance transports.
• STEMI, stroke, trauma, and higher-acuity pediatric patients are transported to a higher level of care and may require RN transport.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.
• A minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
