Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Procedural Sedation experience required - will also attend PS course at orientation
- Advanced GI RN experience in the stated cases.
Required Credentials: Required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.
Unit and facility details: Common cases/procedures: Types of GI cases will range from screening colonoscopies and EGDs, interventional EGDs and colonoscopies, motility studies, Bravo EGDs, ERCPs, and EUS's
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weeknight Call Requirement: 1700-0700
- Weekend/Holiday Requirement: On weekends and holidays we have two call shifts. We have a 24 hour call shift 0700-0700 and a 12 hour call shift 0700. The expectation is that everyone takes two 24-hour call shifts and one 12-hour call shift per 30-day schedule.
Floating Requirements: Our GI staff floats to the Main OR. Our GI team covers all GI procedures done in Outpatient Surgery, the Main OR, the Emergency Department and in our Critical Care areas. First to float.
Other Requirements: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
