Required Credentials: Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.
Preferred Credentials: BSN
Unit Details: Prepares patients for procedures. Completes assessment, reviews health history, starts IVs, and provides patient education. Monitors and sedates patients during procedures. Cares for patients in both phase 1 and phase 2 recovery. Assists the CRNA during cases requiring anesthesia involvement.
Shift & Scheduling: Monday through Friday, with one day off which will be determined later. Possibly one shift on Saturday or Sunday per 6-week schedule.
Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
