Required Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, public health, epidemiology, medical technology program, or other healthcare related field.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Former leadership experience preferred.
Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Unit Details: To start, may be the only person working in the department. Device rounding and EOC rounding; may assist with orienting new staff once hired. Focus on healthcare-associated infections, device-related infections, communicable disease, and SSI surveillance. Covers all patient care areas, including inpatient, emergency department, surgery, procedural, and ambulatory areas. Uses Epic Bugsy. Regular rounding across procedural, inpatient, and ED areas; safety huddle every morning at 0830.
Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday. Flexible start and stop; in by 0830 at the latest. Occasional weekend review of construction activity. No holidays required. No call.
