Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
• 2 years of strong high acuity Pediatric ICU experience – must be comfortable in a high acuity, fast paced environment.
• Experience with Artic Sun, EVDs, Camino device (ICP and temp monitoring device), Belmont Rapid Infuser, management of critical care vasoactive drip titration, management of invasive lines – ART lines/CVP, aseptic and sterile techniques, basic dressing changes, ventilator and trach management, HOFV management, oral/nasal suctioning, g-tube/j-tube management, feeding tubes, chest tubes, epidurals, PCAs, sedation and analgesic drip management, Foley insertion and management, Alaris & Medfusion pump management, bedside procedures with providers, discharge skills, CRRT experience
• Ability/Competency to float to Pediatric CVICU – discussed during interview
Required Credentials: ASN / BSN
Unit/Facility Details:
• Patient Ratios -Varies on acuity: 2:1, 1:1, 1:2
• Free parking
Shift & Scheduling:
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• On Call, Call Back Requirements: None
• Holiday Requirements: Alternate major holidays
Floating Requirements: Pediatric CVICU, NICU, Neonatal PCU, Gen Peds – will float as needed.
