    Additional Information

    Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers accepted if seasoned in home health. IV, PleurX, wound vac, wound care, assessment, disease teaching, OASIS, and case management required; ability to oversee/episode-manage up to 25-30 patients at once.

    Special Requests: Driver's license and proof of insurance required. No company car is available. Average driving is 60-80 miles a day with no maximum mileage. Travelers will be expected to work all holidays unless approval is received from the manager. RTO requires manager approval.

    Unit Details: Required productivity is 6 visits a day (routine visits, discharge, ROC, recert, reassessment); 30 VE a week required, and canceled appointments do not count as visit equivalents. Patient population includes chronic diseases. Visits are scheduled with patients the day prior to the planned visit. Branch/clinic days vary by branch; 1x week in person and at times virtual. Uses Focura to upload discharge instructions and documents such as wound pictures. Samsung Note 9 phones are provided for documentation and calling patients/providers.

    Shift & Scheduling: Start time between 7-9. No weekend rotation unless the traveler is willing and interested in working weekends. Call is not required, but may be available if interested.

    Floating Requirements: Will make visits throughout University City, Cornelius, Davidson, Kannapolis, Salisbury, Concord, Huntersville, and cities in between; must be comfortable floating throughout these areas.
