An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Required Skills/Experience: 2-3 years of Acute home health experience, acute experience absolutely. They need they see acute patients that are currently in a home health setting. It is a very different/independent environment. Comfort with hands on skills such as IV site care, wound care, wound vac, ostomies, etc.
Required Credentials: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Unit/Facility Details: Starting at the Home Health office and covering a 9 county radius in NE WI (average travel of 75-100 miles per day, 4-6 visits per day with travel time included in shift length) Must have own vehicle. Comfort in all home types (no special requests can be made like no pets, no smoking, etc).
Shift & Scheduling: 8hr or 10hr shifts (open to discussion - Shift could flex up to 12 hrs). Weekend /Holiday Rotation Requirements: Every other weekend (open to every weekend). Up to every other holiday.
Floating Requirements: Travel from home to home for patient care. covering a 9 county radius in NE WI (average travel of 75-100 miles per day, 4-6 visits per day with travel time included in shift length)
