Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- CVICU experience required.
- Travel experience required.
Special Requests:
- No block schedule requests. Flexible contract hours: 48 per week may be considered, but not guaranteed.
Unit Details:
- Adult and geriatric patient population.
- Uses Baxter pumps.
- Common diagnoses/treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A-fib RVR, alcohol withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR.
Shift & Scheduling:
- On-call required.
Floating Requirements:
- Float to Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN and to ED holding for admitted patients, as needed.
