Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Cardiac experience.
• CRRT.

Unit Details:

• Patient ratios: 2:1 ICU standard nurse to patient ratio, unless the patient is step-down status then 3:1 or very high acuity, then 1:1.
• Uses Hospira IV pumps.
• Typical procedures/care include intubation, central line insertion, bronchoscopy, endoscopy, vasopressor IV drip titration, ventilator management, and care of sepsis, arrhythmias, and med/surg critical care patients.
• Small community hospital; patients are mostly elective; intensivist in ICU 24/7.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Required to work every 3rd weekend and one major winter holiday; self-scheduling.

Floating Requirements:

• Float to Telemetry and other HealthONE hospitals.
