Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, and obtaining 12 lead EKG. IV insulin protocols and chronic/acute renal failure experience required. Arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, PICC line management, and starting IVs. Continuous IV paralytics/neuromuscular blockade, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, titrating cardiac drips, and titrating vasoactive drips. Assist with management of BiPAP and CPAP, assist with chest tube insertion/removal, care of ventilated patients, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of ABGs, suctioning (ETT, NT), and ventilator management. Infection prevention, isolation precautions/use of PPE, and surgical wounds with drains/wound vac.
Special Requests: Block schedule requests should be discussed with the manager. Ideally no more than 5 days of RTO.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Chest tubes, bedside dialysis catheter insertion, and central line insertion. Cares for patients with COPD, CHF, AKI/ARF, DKA, OD, post surgical conditions, hyperkalemia, hyponatremia, and GI bleeds.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call.
Floating Requirements: Will float as needed.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
