Additional Details:
You must be willing to float, work weekends, and generally just be very flexible. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Impella and CRRT/NXSTAGE are hard stop requirements.
Preferred Skills/Experience: CVICU experience is highly preferred.
Unit Details: Medical/Surgical ICU caring for adult and geriatric patients. Nurses do all lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts. Uses Alaris IV pumps, CADD PCA pumps, Servo I ventilators, Fresenius CRRT dialysis machines, Edwards Lifesciences cardiac monitors, Medtronic EVD management systems, Arctic Sun TMS, GE monitors, Hill Rom beds, Pyxis medication station, and Veratron bladder scanner. May care for Covid-19 and other isolation patients.
Shift & Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. No call required. RTO: Limited to 5 Days Total.
Floating Requirements: Will float to all ICUs and may float to the ED or PACU to care for ICU patients in those areas. May occasionally float to MS/PCU units with 1:4 patient ratios.
