Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Cardiac Progressive Care or Cardiac Step-Down experience.
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient pediatric cardiology experience (ICU or Intermediate Care).
- Strong working knowledge of pediatric three-stage single ventricle care (candidates will be asked to discuss their experience).
- Competence caring for pediatric cardiology patients, including Single Ventricle, Heart Transplant, and Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD).
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience with pediatric VAD patients.
- Teaching hospital experience preferred.
- First-time travelers will be considered.
Special Requests:
- No RTO approved during the first two weeks of the assignment.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday).
- No call.
- Max 5 days RTO on 13-week contract.
- Required to work 2 major holidays and 1 minor.
Floating Requirements:
- May be floated or reassigned to other areas of practice within clinical competence.
