Required Skills/Experience:
2-10 years' experience.
Special Requests:
All travelers must report to Hilo Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to the start of the assignment for a scheduled appointment. Plan to be in Hawaii the Thursday before the Monday start for the Friday morning appointment, and do not accept the start date if unable to arrive on time.
Unit Details:
Equipment includes Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes.
Patient ratios are 1:6 on days and evenings and 1:8 on nights in the Medical Unit, 1:6 in the Laulima Unit, and 1:4 in the Cardiovascular Unit; ratios may vary due to unexpected leaves.
Shift & Scheduling:
Holiday coverage is required.
Floating Requirements:
Floats to the Medical Unit and Laulima Unit; may float to the Cardiovascular Unit on rare occasions.
