Additional Details:
Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.
Roles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date
You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility."
Travel Pairs: If you are in a relationship, EMMC will not schedule you on the same days. If you are not in a relationship, you can be scheduled for the same days if not on the same shift/unit. Managers will not guarantee the same schedule for travel pairs.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Neuro/Trauma – must have Trauma experience; experience with Stroke patients and performing Q2H neuro checks
- Drips – Cardiac drips (Amio – set rate, Cardizem), Insulin – titrating
Preferred Credentials: AACCN
Unit Facility Details: Parking: free in designated areas
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekend rotation: every other
- May be placed on Low Census Call back
- Holiday Expectations: varies based on unit needs
Floating Requirements: Float to ED, ICU, CCU if there is an intermediate assignment in one of those departments
