Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.
Required Skills/Experience: 2+ years recent Med/Surg and telemetry experience required. Neuro care, MI, and trach experience required. Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Critical care experience preferred.
Special Requests: Previous permanent staff are not eligible to be submitted as travelers.
Unit Details: BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Unit sees a mix of IMCU, neurology, and Med/Surg patients. High volume of neuro, medicine, and cardiology patients, including care for chronic vents, trachs, and high-acuity heart failure. Uses automated medication dispensing. Patient ratios: 1:3 (IMCU), 1:4 or 1:4-5 for Med/Surg patients.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other holiday.
