Additional Details:
Resume: Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether the facility is a teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 2 years Cardiology experience required – competency in central line cares, chest tubes, foleys, trach cares, heparin gtts, insulin gtts, angiograms, post pacemakers, post TAVR procedures.
Special Requests:
- Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
- Must take a full 6 months off from any Sanford Health, Good Samaritan Society, and Marshfield Clinic Health System location before submission.
- Must disclose previous employment within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details:
- Ensuring provider orders are maintained, chest tube insertions, titrating medications such as low-dose pressors if IMC, and Foley catheter insertion.
- Uses Omnicell, Alaris IV pumps, and central monitoring.
- Most common ratios are 1:4, 1:5 at times, and 1:3 if caring for an IMC patient.
- Cardiac patient population includes CHF, pacemaker placements, PCIs, TAVRs, heart caths, Afib with RVR, BiPAP, heated high flow NC, insulin gtts, amiodarone gtts, and heparin gtts.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Day/night rotating shifts.
- Every other weekend and holiday.
