Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If clinician has questions, please email the AM. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 1 previous travel assignment required.
- 2 years of experience: Interventional Radiology, Cath lab, procedural areas, ICU, or ER; At least 2 yrs specialty exp required, required moderate sedation administration for procedures, must have IV start experience.
Required Credentials:
- For DC locations – You must have DC license in hand, but certain units accept pending (See JD). MedStar will usually accept a later booking date if you have applied for DC licensure.
- For MD locations – You must have compact license or MD license.
Special Requests:
- No holiday request off.
Unit Details:
- Adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population.
- Interventional Radiology procedures can include TIPS, vascular access, drain placement, etc.
- Uses Cerner.
Shift & Scheduling:
- One weekend call every 4-6 weeks; no other weekend requirement. Will be on weekday call once every other week.
Floating Requirements:
- Possibly to cath lab holding.
