Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Experience administering and monitoring moderate sedation; comfortable working in a high-volume procedural environment.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Emergency Department (ED) and/or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience is strongly preferred, as it provides the critical care skills needed to manage patient hemodynamics, recognize and respond to complications, and thrive in the fast-paced Interventional Radiology environment.
Special Requests: 1 reference must be from the most recent place of employment.
Unit Details: Performs catheter placements, angiograms, fistulagrams, biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, pulmonary embolism (PE) lysis, neuro interventional radiology procedures including diagnostic angiograms, coilings, stent placements, and thrombectomies, and epidural injections.
Shift & Scheduling: Rotating call required; the department maintains both a primary on-call RN and a secondary on-call RN at all times. No scheduled weekend requirements unless assigned to the on-call rotation. No scheduled holiday requirements unless assigned to the on-call rotation.
