Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience in ERCPs, bronchoscopy, colon/EGD, argon, and endoscopic ultrasounds required.
- Strong critical care skills required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- 2 years of Critical Care experience preferred.
Preferred Credentials:
- Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) preferred.
- Completion of an OR internship program preferred.
- Successful completion of Period 101 preferred.
Special Requests:
- Assignment length may vary: 13 - 18 weeks.
Unit Details:
- Provides pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care, including assessment and discharge instructions.
- Responsible for reprocessing on the Endoscopy team.
- Robotics, spine, ortho, laparoscopic, general, GYN, URO, and vascular cases.
- Cares for patients across the lifespan, from neonates through geriatrics.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Mon-Fri with one day off per week.
- Must be able to come in on call with endo tech and perform cases in the OR, ED, or at bedside.
- On-call required for overnights, holidays, and weekends, up to 7 call shifts per 6-week schedule.
