    Additional Details:

    An interview may not be available prior to offer. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

    Required Skills/Experience: Must have 1 year of L&D experience and be trained in LDRP. Must be able to triage and function as the baby catcher/transition nurse.

    Special Requests: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

    Unit Details: Patient population includes pregnant women, newborns, and GYN surgical patients. Does not require circulating C-sections or managing post-op GYN patients. Titrates drips including Pitocin. Charge nurse is one of two nurses on shift. No nurse aids or surgical techs on the unit. OB providers are on call after hours with a 20-minute response time. Anesthesia is in house during regular business hours and on call after hours with a 20-minute response time. RT may not always be available for deliveries; pediatric on-call can attend deliveries. Uses OBIX. Equipment includes bubble CPAP, CPAP, and NC.

    Shift & Scheduling: Some self-scheduling, but shifts may be moved for unit needs. Half of all weekends (F, S, S). Half of winter holidays. No call.

    Floating Requirements: First to float helping hands to Med-Surg (rare).
