Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
Required Skills/Experience: 2 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high volume delivery service.
Preferred Skills/Experience: 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in high volume delivery service preferred.
Required Credentials: Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed. In order to receive travel rate, clinician's claimed residence must match address on driver's license. Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.
Preferred Credentials: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Unit Details: Level IV maternal designation facility with an academic teaching service and large private OB practices. High-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing over 500+ deliveries per month. 24 hour in-house attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage. Perinatal Transport Program.
