    Additional Information

    Required Skills/Experience: 3 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high volume delivery service.

    Preferred Skills/Experience: 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in high volume delivery service preferred.

    Required Credentials: Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization. Only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization. Only 2 attempts allowed. Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.

    Preferred Credentials: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

    Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver's license.

    Unit Details: Level IV maternal designation facility with a high-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing over 500+ deliveries per month. Academic teaching service with large private OB practices. 24 hour in-house attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage. Perinatal Transport Program. Women's Emergency Department sees 16 weeks to 6 weeks PP and an expanded GYN scope.
