Required Skills/Experience 2-3 years of specialty experience required.
Special Requests Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Holiday RTO will be considered; however, it cannot be guaranteed.
Unit Details Charge nurse is a clinical supervisor with no patient assignment and provides break relief. Portable telemetry used as needed; monitor tech available. Nurses must be able to read and interpret telemetry. Common diagnoses/types of patients include hips, knees, shoulders, and spine; no drips.
Shift & Scheduling 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule. Holidays work into permanent staff rotation.
Floating Requirements First to float. May float to telemetry with a 1:4 ratio and could also float between Med-Surg floors.
