Special Requests:
Any past employee of UPH, whether FTE or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another market, regardless of which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply.
Limit of 1 day off request between 11/25-11/29 and 12/23-12/27 for all travelers.

Unit Details:
Types of surgeries include prostatectomy, mastectomy, abdominal surgeries, thyroidectomy, and other procedures.
Heparin is administered.
The unit is a general medical/surgical floor caring for postoperative patients who require overnight stays.

Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Every other weekend.
No call.
The traveler will be required to work 2 of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day.

Floating Requirements:
Floating to other Med-Surg/Tele units is required.
The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
