Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: IV start skills and labor & delivery (L&D) experience. Telemetry interpretation is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. RN will be expected to pass an EKG exam prior to start.
Special Requests: Cannot apply to any Ohio State University facilities if you have an active application to any of the James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities.
Unit Details: Inpatient postpartum unit providing family-centered care to women and infants. Adult and neonatal patient population. Cares for postpartum patients following vaginal delivery or C/S delivery, postpartum readmits with wound infection or preeclampsia, healthy newborns, and NAS infants. Typical assignment is 3-4 dyads (6-8 patients).
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: May float to units of similar acuity, including MSC (antepartum-team nursing), within the OSU organization as needed.
