Required Skills/Experience:

• 1 year Tele, inpatient only.
• Experience and competence in drug titration.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• 1 year Neuro, inpatient only.

Special Requests:

• Blocked scheduling (no specific days) may be approved based on facility requirements.
• RTO must be made up on the back end.
• RTO will not be approved in the first week of assignment.
• Holiday RTO: only 1 request per assignment.

Unit Details:

• Patient ratios vary: days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:7. Ratios are not guaranteed; assignments are determined based on circumstances.
• Uses telemetry, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps.
• Patient population includes Neuro, Med, and Med Tele patients.
• Provides care for post-trauma, post-surgical, and medically complex patients.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend hours as required by facility.
• Call requirements: none.
• Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week.

Floating Requirements:

• Will float on a rotational basis.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
