    Additional Information

    Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to provide care across triage, antepartum, labor, postpartum, and neonatal phases. Must be comfortable stabilizing babies. One-year labor experience required or completed extended orientation period, up to a year, meeting all expectations for no labor experience. A nurse with no labor experience can be hired by the Perinatal nurse manager based on current preceptor/orientation availability.

    Preferred Credentials: BA preferred.

    Unit Details: LDRP setup. Includes care of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum patients and stable newborns. Includes routine newborn stabilization and stabilization of sick/critical newborns awaiting NICU transport. Northern Inyo Hospital does not have a NICU.

    Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
