    Additional Details:

    Required Credentials: Chemotherapy Immunotherapy (CHIM) or ONCC-CHIM accepted in place of the oncology certification requirement.

    Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology nurse experience in a radiation department preferred.

    Unit Details: Ambulatory outpatient oncology setting serving patients with complex diseases or disorders. Team-based care model with access to multiple physicians and caregivers in one visit. Provides nursing care for outpatients receiving radiation therapy, including baseline assessments, nursing histories, vital signs, pain assessment, medication history, and weekly assessment for treatment side effects. Assists physicians with procedures performed in the radiation therapy department, including stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy, and examinations. Performs blood draws, starts IV therapy for intravenous contrast, administers medications and oxygen as needed, and supports coordination between patients and radiation therapists. Services are provided in a hospital-based outpatient department or outpatient center.

    Shift & Scheduling: RTO: None allowed.

    Floating Requirements: May be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

    Required Skills/Experience: Candidates must be proficient in Epic and able to hit the ground running.

    Details:

    • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
