Required Skills/Experience: Biotherapy-Recognize/manage side effects, Chemotherapy-Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values, Accessing Ports, Administration of coagulation factors, Antifungals, Antivirals, Blood/Blood product administration, Care and management of ports, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Infusion pump management, Intravenous hydration/multivitamins, PICC line care, Starting IVs, Antiemetic, Antibiotic, Corticosteroids, Neupogen, IV push narcotic agents, Medication tolerance/dependence assessment, Isolation Precautions, Neutropenic precautions, Telemetry monitoring, Patient/Family education and support, Symptom management-Alteration in skin and mucous membranes, Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea, Dysphagia, Edema, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy
Unit Facility Details: Parking Cost: $15/day or $70/month
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend required.
- 4 weekend shifts per contract, depending on need may be more or less as needed.
- No on-call.
Special Requests:
- No medical marijuana cards accepted.
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
