Required Skills/Experience:
- Outpatient infusion experience and at least 1 year of chemotherapy experience required.
Required Credentials:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Preferred Credentials:
- Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.
Unit Details:
- Adult outpatient oncology infusion clinic.
- Administers oral medications, subcutaneous injections, chemotherapy, intravenous infusions, and blood products.
- Assists with conscious sedation patients and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
- Provides chemotherapy education, side-effect consultation, phone triage, and treatment follow-up and care coordination.
