    Required Skills/Experience: 1 year must be in Oncology and must be current experience. Must have completed at least (1) 13-week assignment; first-time travelers are not accepted. Clinic experience required.

    Special Requests: You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility. Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler. Time off may be approved up to 7 days (excluding holidays), as long as the traveler is willing to extend the contract to accommodate.

    Unit Details: Outpatient clinic caring for adults 18+ with medical oncology/hematology, hematology, and pre-transplant and post-transplant BMT patients. Approximately 15-25 patients per day with CA support. Uses Epic Ambulatory. Responsibilities include rooming patients; vital signs, review of systems, medication reconciliation, weight, obtaining orders, processing patients for infusions/communication if cleared, chart checks, procedure setup, and review of referrals. Chemo nurses perform port access and blood draws. Lab on site.

    Shift & Scheduling: No weekends. No call. No major holidays; will be scheduled to work minor holidays when the clinic is open. Day off is based on clinic needs each week.

    Floating Requirements: Will routinely work with different physicians within Medical Oncology.
