- Must have scrub experience to get submitted.
- Must be able to circulate and scrub in the following specialty areas: Transplant, Liver and Kidney, Endo, Vascular (including emergencies), Neuro, Trauma (including MVA, Gunshot, Stabbings), Circulate hearts, General surgery, Pedi, and Micro.
- Work Settings: General OR, Pedi General OR, Trauma.
- Bariatric: Laparoscopic assisted cases.
- ENT procedures: Endoscopic sinus, Laparoscopic assisted, Laryngectomy, Mastoidectomy/Tympanoplasty/Stapedectomy, Radical neck dissection, Septoplasty/Rhinoplasty, Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, Tracheostomy.
- Endoscopic procedures: EGD, Peg tube placement/exchange.
- General Surgery procedures: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Hernia repair (inguinal/umbilical), Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Mastectomy, Thyroidectomy partial/total.
- Neurology procedures: ALIF, Anterior cervical fusion, Cervical fusions, Craniotomy, Insertion of VP shunt, Kyphoplasty, Laminectomy/discectomy, Lumbar fusion, MIS, XLIF.
- Oral procedures: Repair of fractured jaws (mandibular and zygomatic).
- Orthopedic procedures: Closed reduction of fractures, Laminectomy/discectomy, Open reduction of fractures, Ortho/Spine, Spinal Fusion.
- Plastics procedures: Free Flap - Microvascular, Mastectomy with tram flap reconstruction.
- Podiatry procedures: Metatarsal surgery.
- Transplant procedures: Kidney, Liver, Organ donation.
- Trauma procedures: Amputations, Burns, Gunshot/stab wounds, MVA (multiple injuries).
- Pedi Craniofacial/Oral/Plastics: Cleft lip/Cleft palate repair.
- Pedi ENT procedures: Myringotomy with tubes, Tonsillectomy/adenoids, Tracheostomy.
- Pedi Endoscopic procedures: EGD, Flexible sigmoidoscopy, Peg tube placement/exchange/removal.
- Pedi General Surgery procedures: Appendectomy, Central venous line insertion/removal, Cholecystectomy, Circumcision, Colon resection, Colostomy/Ileostomy creation/closure/reversal, Epigastric hernia repair, Exploratory laparotomy, Inguinal hernia repair.
- Pedi Neurology procedures: Craniotomy, VP/VA shunts.
- Pedi Orthopedic procedures: Arthrotomy, Closed reduction of fractures, Open reduction of fractures, Spinal fusion/spinal with instrumentation.
- Equipment/Instrumentation/Supplies: Electrosurgical units, Fiber optic light sources/cords.
- Professional Knowledge and Skills: Radiation Safety, Specimen Handling/labeling, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure, Urinary bladder catheterization.
