Additional Details:
Position is 50% circulating and 50% first assisting, so does require experience in both.
Required Skills/Experience: Five (5) years diversified peri-operative nursing experience with both scrubbing and circulating proficiency required. Experience in both circulating and first assisting required.
Required Credentials: Contingent/temp licensure is not accepted. Completion of an RN First Assisting course that conforms to the Core Curriculum set forth by AORN required.
Unit Details: Position is 50% circulating and 50% first assisting. Responsible for assisting the surgeon in a lead role until the conclusion of the operative procedure and may circulate at times.
Shift & Scheduling: On-call two days per week from 5p (or from the end of the shift) to 7p, plus one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) every 3 weekends. Weekend call is 24 hours/day.
