Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Large hospital experience - 250 plus beds with level 1 trauma status.
- Experience working in acute facility with 15 or more OR suites. Outpatient center experience will not be a match.
- Strong Neuro and Ortho, will need to be OK to work in General.
- Experience with General surgical cases, GYN, Urology, laparoscopic.
- Strong Neuro/Ortho procedures, experience with navigation.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience with robotics, DaVinci preferred.
Special Requests:
- Must complete both an OR and a Neuro ICU skills checklist to apply.
- Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
- Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
- At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
- Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well.
- Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 8, possibly 10 hour days with every other weekend and rotating call. Rotate to pm shift in rotation with all staff.
- Will need to stay late as needed - this time is not Call Back, but an extension of regular shift.
- Call: 1 to 2 days a week and every 3 to 4 weekends.
Floating Requirements:
- May float to Broadway or South University campus if needed. (rare)
