    Additional Information

    References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

    You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

    Required Skills/Experience: Requires 3 years overall OR experience with 2 years dedicated cardiac and vascular. Scrub only; scrub experience required. General OR, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant skills required. Heart and lung transplant experience required. Must have 4's for heart/lung transplant, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Mitral valve replacement, Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, and TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair).

    Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

    Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Focuses on patients needing heart and vascular care, surgery, and interventions. Common open cases include CABG, valves, AAA, ascending and descending dissections, amputations, fistulas, first ribs, and ECMO. Common endovascular cases include TVAR, EVAR, TAVR, fistulograms, angiograms, aortograms, and radiofrequency ablations.

    Shift & Scheduling: Schedule consists of two (2) 8-hour shifts and two (2) 12-hour shifts.
