If a BSN degree is the highest level of education, verify the graduation date and upload a copy of your diploma to your credentials. OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center is Oklahoma’s only Level I Trauma Center.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute operating room environment.
• Excellent understanding of AORN Standards.
• Clinicians should have strong Trauma Level 1 experience and/or be willing to work with difficult cases.

Required Credentials:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Preferred Credentials:

• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.

Unit Details:

• Provides direct and indirect nursing care for patients in the operating room.
• Performs ongoing evaluation and documentation of care delivered within the perioperative environment.
• Cares for patients undergoing operative and other invasive procedures and individualizes care according to patient health status, age, and surgery/procedure being performed.

Floating Requirements:

• Travelers will be first to float.
