Additional Details:
If a BSN degree is the highest level of education, verify the graduation date and upload a copy of your diploma to your credentials.
Preferred Credentials: BSN or higher preferred.
Unit Details: Oklahoma’s only Level I Trauma Center. Clinicians should have strong Trauma Level 1 experience and/or be willing to work with difficult cases. Plans, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates nursing care for patients whose protective reflexes or self-care abilities are potentially compromised during operative or other invasive procedures. Uses clinical knowledge, judgment, and clinical-reasoning skills based on scientific principles to address the physical, psychological, and spiritual responses of the patient having an operative or other invasive procedure. Responsible for the direct and indirect provision of professional nursing care for patients in the operating room. Accountable for ongoing evaluation and documentation of all components of care delivered within the perioperative environment utilizing the nursing process. Individualizes patient care according to the patient’s health status, age level, and surgery/procedure being performed.
Floating Requirements: Travelers will be first to float.
