An interview may not be available prior to offer.
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Candidates may not have been full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year.
RTO must be requested upfront; additional RTO will not be approved, including after submission.

Unit Details

Common diagnoses and patient types include total knee replacements, total hip replacements, shoulder replacements, COPD, diabetes, wounds, IV infusions, dementia, oncology, hip and ankle fractures, sepsis, pneumonia, cholelithiasis, ambulatory dysfunction, appendicitis, acute respiratory distress, CHF, and ETOH/drug abuse.
RNs are not required to titrate drips.
Common titratable or set-rate drips include heparin, IV antibiotics, antithrombotics, and narcotics.
Monitors are located at the main nurses station.
The primary patient population is Caucasian and low- to middle-class; some patients are homeless or have mental health and/or addiction histories.

Shift & Scheduling

Scheduled hours are 1830-0700.
Self-scheduling is available.
Every third weekend is required; for night shifts, Friday and Saturday are considered the weekend.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
