Required Credentials:
- Education Requirements: Completion of educational program for licensure as a LPN. Successful completion of required New York State Department of Health LPN IV Therapy Initial Program for the demonstration of competence in the performance of intravenous therapy/blood administration procedures as part of Centralized Orientation. Successful completion of annual unit-based review & update program in procedures associated with intravenous therapy.
PAPR & Fit Testing Requirement: PAPR use is not guaranteed across all departments and must be flagged at submission. All applicants must be willing to shave to pass the mandatory N95 fit test to avoid a rescinded offer.
