Required Skills/Experience:
- One year of Labor & Delivery, ED, or Intensive Care nursing experience is accepted as an alternative to NICU experience.
- Stroke competency includes complying with hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines related to care for patients with hyperacute and acute stroke.
- Stroke competency includes participating in two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education within one year of hire.
- Stroke competency includes participating in one hour annually of cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Possible weekends and possible holidays.
