Additional Details:
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).
Required Skills/Experience: NICU transport experience required. Ground transportation experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. Permanent candidates from other Providence facilities (non-Swedish) are eligible for a travel contract only if they have been separated for at least 3 months.
Unit Details: Peds/neonatal transport role supporting ground transportation needs in the Seattle area. Works with the transportation team, respiratory therapist, and the advanced practice provider to transport infants and pediatric patients from surrounding hospitals, ERs, and L&D/NICU to Swedish First Hill for a higher level of care. External transport team deployed to pick up patients. Picks up from ED, NICU, and other units as needed. Neonate, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient population.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call required.
Floating Requirements: May float to cover as bedside nurse in NICU, PICU, or Peds units.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
