    Required Skills/Experience: Minimum experience: 2 years of Level III-IV NICU. Respiratory support for vents, g-tubes, NG/OG, NCPAP, UAC/UVC management, PICC lines, medication administration, care plans, and discharge to home.

    Preferred Skills/Experience: Trachs highly preferred, not required. Surgical patient experience preferred. HIE (Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy) experience preferred.

    Required Credentials: If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.

    Special Requests: Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will NOT be considered. You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility. Block scheduling possible, but not guaranteed.

    Unit Details: Level IV NICU with private rooms and overflow of Level II Nursery for feeders/growers. Patient population includes prematurity down to 22 weeks gestation, RDS, high-risk deliveries and patients, feeders/growers, and NAS. NICU is part of the pediatric hospital attached to the adult hospital, with high-risk labor and delivery.

    Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend; may have a few back-to-back weekends, but rare. No call. Shift times: 0700-1930 or 1900-0730.

    Floating Requirements: Possibly to ER to act as a sitter, but rare.
