Required Skills/Experience: 2 Years of Pediatric experience with Peds Diabetes Education and diabetes medications. Work Settings/Clinic Specialties, Family Care clinic, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Urgent Care, Assessment, Interpretation of laboratory results, Medication reconciliation, Patient Health Questionnaire/History/Allergies, Obtain Vital Signs, Pediatrics, Asthma/Reactive airway disease, Croup, Ear infection, Fever, Recognize signs of abuse, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), Set Up and Assist with Procedures, Set up aseptic /sterile procedure trays, Specimen Collection, Capillary, Throat, Urine - UA/Clean Catch, Venipuncture/Phlebotomy, Office Duties, Telephone Triage, Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Follow up phone calls. Preferred Skills/Experience: 1 Year Ambulatory Care experience. Prior Teaching Hospital Experience. Special Requests: An interview may not be given prior to an offer being made. Travel pairs are allowed, but generally will not be on the same unit. Married couples may not work on the same unit.
**Floating Requirements: ** Candidates must be willing and able to Float to other UCSF units and facilities as needed. At any time during assignment, resources may be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility (within 75+ radius) if the resource satisfies the requisite Job Specifications. Please ensure this is discussion at time of submission, and time of offer.
