Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of Staff RN experience in a dedicated CVPICU/Pediatric CICU Open Heart setting.
- ADN accepted with 6+ years of relevant experience.
Required Credentials:
- PALS Heartcode required.
- ACLS Heartcode required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) experience preferred.
- Teaching hospital experience strongly preferred.
Preferred Credentials:
- Pediatric CCRN strongly preferred.
Special Requests:
- No RTO will be approved during the first two weeks of the assignment.
- RTO blackout dates: 11/25-11/27, 12/23-12/26, 12/30-1/2.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 12-hour rotating days/nights (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM / 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) based on unit needs.
- Weekend requirement: up to 75% of scheduled shifts.
- On-call requirement: none.
- Total RTO limited to 4 days or less.
- Must be available to work 2 of the 3 holidays.
Floating Requirements:
- Floating within Children's Hospital Colorado Anschutz Campus as needed.
- May be floated or reassigned to other practice areas within clinical competency, including up to 35 miles from the originally assigned facility.
