Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Complex post op recovery experience required. Must have strong ICU level skills, ie. manage vents, multiple drips, spinal drains and lines.
Unit/Facility Details: Preop and Post op: Complex ortho, hand surgery, complex ENT, General ENT, general surgery, transplants, complex endo vascular, complex cardiac, robotics, thoracic, neuro-endovascular, functional, cranial and spine, podiatry, complex urology, reconstructive plastics
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation: None, but subject to change based on unit needs. On call? May be required if staff member on holiday to cover. Holiday Expectations: Based on unit needs.
Floating Requirements: OCC is the Outpatient Care Center here at the hospital. Everyone takes turn floating into that area. Yes, will float between Pre-op, Phase I, and Phase II as well as adjacent recovery areas.
