Required Skills/Experience: 3 years PACU experience with recent years. Must be able to read telemetry strips. ICU experience required. Pre- and post-procedure TEE/CV, Cath/EP, and OR procedures. Cardiac drips, IVs, telemetry monitoring, Phase 1 care, groin management, and EKGs.
Unit Details: Phase 1 and Phase 2 pre/post-op care for Cath/EP, TEE cardioversion, OR, vascular, robotic TAVR, and pediatric cath patients. Patient ratios: 2:1 Phase 1 care; up to 3-4 in 23-hour stay. Uses IV pumps, PCAs, epidurals, and A-lines.
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 48 per week preferred; 36 per week acceptable. Saturday day shifts scheduled every other weekend. Call required every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: Will float to Bramhall PACU, IMC, and ICU as needed.
