Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to care for pediatric patients and high-acuity patients. Large hospital (250+) experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Critical care experience preferred.
Special Requests: Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether it was a teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the position. Must take a full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location. Must disclose previous employment on the resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Skills checklist cannot contain any N/As; all lines must have a numerical rating.
Unit Details: PACU only; no pre-op. Cares for all surgical specialties and for adult and pediatric patients, including ICU, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, and IR patients post-procedure. Babies to geriatrics; averages 5 to 15 pediatric patients per day. Never alone. Uses AcuDose medication dispensing, Philips monitors, vents, and BiPAP.
Shift & Scheduling: 40 hours per week. Occasional weekends and nights. Backup call rotation with staff, about 2 weeknights per month and up to every 4th weekend.
Floating Requirements: Could float between campuses for Phase I PACU.
