Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Tdap declinations are not accepted at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Required Skills/Experience: Strong experience with pediatric patients. Experience recovering ortho, neuro, general, urology, dental (Adults and PEDs), GYN, and peds ENT (T & A, BMT, etc). Experience monitoring patients with nerve blocks, chest tube insertions, central lines, intubation, and A-lines. All surgeries except hearts. Must help with coverage in Pre-Op.
Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years experience preferred. Critical care experience strongly preferred.
Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population; all ages from 8 months old to 100+ years old. Heavy volume of ortho, general, GYN, neuro, and urology.
Shift & Scheduling: Monday to Friday. On-call 6-8 days per month (varies); self-scheduled. Minimum of 1 weekend shift per contract. Start date within the next 3-5 weeks preferred
Floating Requirements: Nurse will orient to Preop Holding. Preop Holding and PACU are connected, and nurses float to Preop Holding if needed. No floating to other departments.
