All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years experience with high-acuity postpartum patients and ability to handle a census surge where they could be asked to manage a 4th couplet. High-risk obstetric care experience is required. Experience with magnesium, Pitocin, Foley, postpartum hemorrhage, and substance withdrawal is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: JADA experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.

Unit Details: Large-volume, high-census unit caring for high-risk obstetric and postpartum patients. Adult and infant patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: 3x12s or 4x12s (traveler choice). 6 weekend days per contract.

Floating Requirements: Float required: Issaquah Campus - Postpartum, Edmonds Campus - Postpartum, Labor and Delivery for 2nd hour of recovery.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
