Required Skills/Experience:

• Working with mental health patients in a locked setting.
• Ability to pass medications utilizing Omni Cell.

Unit Details:

• Mountain View forensic unit.
• Adults 18 and over with a history of legal issues; patients are often at their last stop before community placement.
• Common diagnoses include bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, major depression, SA, and chronic medical conditions including diabetes, HTN, and COPD.
• Uses POC blood glucose and vital signs equipment.
• Internal medical group for medical concerns, full rehab staff for group programming, and 3 unit psychiatrists.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend.
• No call.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
