Additional Information
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities. Exceptions include: Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.
Required Skills/Experience: Pediatric and bronchoscopy experience within the last 2 years required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Provation preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population; high volumes of pediatric (0 months-18 years) and adult patients, with pediatric cases Monday-Thursday. Upper & Lower GI, bronchoscopy, EBUS, ERCP, EUS, and pain management cases. Pre/post and intraprocedural care. Tuesdays are typically lighter days.
Shift & Scheduling: No weekend requirement. Call required: currently and subject to staffing changes: 1 Friday, 1 Saturday, and 1 Sunday and 4 weekdays (Monday-Thursday) in a six-week period. This is 7 on-call shifts per 6-week period. Saturday and Sunday are 24-hour shifts. Must work 2/3 major holidays. Flexible contract hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek. 3, 12 hr. shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek.
Floating Requirements: Float to PACU if needed.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
