Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of recent endoscopy experience. First-time travelers allowed with strong Endoscopy/GI experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Assisting in procedures and HLD of endoscopes preferred.
Unit Details: Adult patient population. APC and ablations. HLD scope reprocessing of Fuji and Olympus scopes. Routine and surveillance colonoscopy, EGD, EGD strictures with balloon or savory dilations, food obstruction EGD, GI bleeds, and inpatient bronchoscopy to rule out infection or cancer. Department does not perform advanced procedures. Rapid turnover, fast-paced environment. Anesthesia support for the majority of cases.
Shift & Scheduling: Monday through Friday - 7a-330p, 730a-4p, 8a-430p, or 830a-5p. Possibly 1 weekend and some weeknights. On-call coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays, rotating. May be flagged to stay late some days to finish the daily schedule on a rotating basis.
