    Additional Details:

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • Past procedural experience in hospital-based GI lab.
    • Able to function as an RN and endo tech.

    Required Credentials:

    • Associate’s degree in nursing.

    Preferred Credentials:

    • Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

    Unit Details:

    • Patient care coordination, direct patient care, patient education, telephone triage/eVisits, and performing/assisting with in-clinic minor procedures.
    • Most procedures are MAC sedation with anesthesia present; some moderate sedation procedures.
    • Uses Epic Op-Time to chart.
    • Procedures include colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, EUS, colon with EMR, EGD with dilation, and EUS with fine needle aspiration.

    Shift & Scheduling:

    • Mon-Fri 0715-1745 3 days a week, 0645-1715 one day a week. One off day a week.
    • Call rotation for weekends every 8-10 weeks from 1730 Friday to 0700 Monday.
    • Call rotation for a weeknight about once every two weeks, 1730-0700.
    • No scheduled weekend shifts.

    Floating Requirements:

    • May float to other areas as needed for operational needs.
